1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the TaskOrbit Chrome extension ("Extension") or this website ("Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use TaskOrbit.

2. Description of Service

TaskOrbit is a browser extension that enables users to automate web-based tasks through recorded workflows, visual workflow builders, and scripted automation steps. The Extension runs locally on your device and operates within your browser environment.

3. License Grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Extension for your personal or internal business purposes. This license does not include the right to:

  • Sublicense, sell, resell, or commercially exploit the Extension.
  • Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension (except to the extent permitted by applicable law).
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the Extension.

4. Pro License Terms

TaskOrbit Pro features are gated behind a paid license key. When you purchase a Pro license:

  • Your license key is bound to one email address and one device ID.
  • You may not share, resell, or transfer your license key to any third party.
  • We reserve the right to revoke a license key that is found to be shared or misused without refund.
  • License keys are validated via our license server every 24 hours. A 7-day offline grace period applies.
  • License duration is as specified at time of purchase. We do not guarantee perpetual access for time-limited licenses after expiry.
No Refund Policy: Due to the nature of digital license keys, all sales are final unless required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use TaskOrbit to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Automate actions that violate a website's Terms of Service.
  • Conduct unauthorized scraping of personal data or protected content.
  • Distribute malware, spam, or engage in any fraudulent activity.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or authentication systems on websites you are not authorized to access.
  • Use the Extension to harm, harass, or infringe on the rights of others.

You are solely responsible for the workflows you create and the websites you automate against. TaskOrbit is a tool — you bear responsibility for how you use it.

6. Community Marketplace

The Community Marketplace allows users to share and download workflows. By submitting a workflow to the Marketplace:

  • You grant TaskOrbit a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute the workflow to other users.
  • You represent that the workflow does not violate any third-party rights or laws.
  • You understand that workflows submitted to the Marketplace may be reviewed, moderated, or removed at our discretion.

We do not warrant the safety, accuracy, or legality of community-submitted workflows. Use them at your own risk.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

TaskOrbit is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We expressly disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all websites. Websites frequently change their structure, which may break recorded selectors.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaskOrbit and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use or inability to use the Extension, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from your use of TaskOrbit shall not exceed the amount you paid for your Pro license in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of TaskOrbit after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
